Who I am and why I created YBS
Welcome to Your Better Self - where organisation meets intention, and selfcare
becomes a lifestyle.
For as long as I can remember, I've loved journaling, planning and creating space for
reflection. But after being diagnosed with POTS, I realised how important it is to slow
down, and truly care for ourselves. Over the years, I discovered practical tools and
mindful habits that helped me find balance and calm in the chaos.
The journey inspired me to create YBS: a collection of thoughtfully designed journals,
planners and wellbeing essentials that blend psychology, mindfulness and every day
practicality.
With over 15 years of experience in health and mental health and a background in
Psychology - I understand how our minds work and what supports lasting wellbeing.
As a mum of four, I also know how real life looks - the mess the noise and the juggling.
That's why every product is designed to be both beautiful and useful. Helping you to
create small and meaningful moments of calm amongst it all.
Soon we will also be offering support groups and coaching, creating a safe, empowering
space for anyone navigating chronic illness or simply wanting to feel more grounded
and fulfilled.
This is more than stationary, it is a movement toward self-care, emotional balance and
everyday self compassion.
